Prof. Rajagopalan Vasudevan
We are previledged to share that our ENVIS Coordinator Professor Rajagopalan Vasudevan, Thiyagarajar College of Engineering (TCE), Madurai, a new ENVIS Resource Partner (RP) on Plastic Waste Management, has been awarded with the Padma Shri by the Government of India.
The award is a recognition given for the technology developed for the disposal of waste plastics in an eco-friendly way. This technology helps the country in solving the menace due to waste plastic pollution. The technology is also appropriate for the society development in the area of road transport.
